Wisconsin Animal Assistance

Due to the nation's current economic situation, the number of animal abandonment and surrender cases is on the rise. As a result, the WVMA has been experiencing an increase in correspondence from both veterinary clinics and the general public.

The latter are looking for ways to either help pets and their owners or are in actual need themselves. In most cases, they are being directed to local animal  shelters for assistance.

If you have extra supplies or clients wishing to make a donation, please ask them to contact a local shelter. Click here for a listing of shelters in Wisconsin. If your local shelter is not listed on this site, please feel free to provide your client with their contact information.
